We are pleased to announce the Aurora Global COIL Fair 2025. This edition is addressed to all disciplines and teaching staff within Aurora, including our global partners and associates.
As a new opportunity for this academic course, we are offering a COIL Professional Development Online Workshop – free of charge for all those teachers that find a match to collaborate with (during the Fair or via the Bulletin that will result from the replies to the registration Form).
During the Training, partnered instructors will have to develop asynchronous work (watching videos and working autonomously with their partner) combined with synchronous meetings (to share with peers and evaluate progress). This training will give a real chance to design in detail their COIL project during June 2025, leaving it ready and set for the implementation during next academic year.
The Aurora Global COIL Fair is an online event where teaching staff that has filled the Registration Form can meet other instructors interested in finding work partners from Aurora member and associate partner institutions.
How will it work?
Fill in the Registration Form by 10March 2025. If you are a teacher that is interested in doing COIL but you cannot attend the Fair, please fill the Registration Form too.
Answering the form is also a sign of interest and a way to be updated on news about COIL and COIL trainings, so please be sure to answer it on time, even if you don’t have a clear idea of how to do a COIL.
The link to the Fair will be sent to all registered participants with the bulletin gathering all replies when the registration closes.
Read the bulletin that will be shared short after 10 March. A bulletin gathering all replies will be sent out to everyone who registered. Teaching staff can then read it through, find a potential match and feel free to email them. As a new action for this year, we will have a partnering support team that will help you identify potential matches after the Fair takes place.
Attend the Fair (8 April 2025) and share your ideas, meet with others or speak directly with your potential partner! We will share the link after the registration closes.
